•   Star of Wonder

During November 2011 Tosside Community Hall hosted a performance of Star of Wonder.  This wonderful performance was provided by the Spot-on rural touring theatre.  The play is based on a true story tells story and tells a tale of  magic and wonder set in a theatre in Victorian Chester.

The play was specially adapted to combine with the superb magic-tricks provided by Paul Dabek.

A truly wonderful performance for which we express our gratitude to the Spot-on rural touring theatre. We look forward to seeing another  Spot-on performance in the near future!

•   Evening with Julia Kendell

During November 2011 Tosside Community Group hosted the Evening with Julia Kendell event.  In an intimate venue, Julia divulged secrets about her work with the lads on DIY SOS, how 60 Minute Make-over is put together, and gave tips on decorating and trends for interior design this Season.

Julia was passionate about her organic kitchen garden, poultry, bees and pigs. Julia also shared with us her experiences of embarking on a self-sufficient lifestyle.

The evening was enjoyed by all present and we would like to extend our thanks to Julia for freely giving her time and to the Saving Rare Breeds charity (of which Julia is the patron) for organising this  most enjoyable and memorable event.
