Parish Matters
Tosside area comprises three local places of worship:
• Anglican Churches
St. Bartholomew’s Church, Tosside
A morning service is held each Sunday at 9.15 am.
St. James’s, Dalehead Church, Gisburn Forest
An afternoon service is held on the third Sunday each month at 2 pm.
Both churches are the responsibility of our newly appointed Vicar, Rev’d George Darby. For further information with reference to either St. Bartholomew’s Church, Tosside, or St. James’s Church, Dalehead, St Bartholomew with St James Churches
• Methodist Chapel
Mount Zion Methodist Chapel, Tosside
Services held three times per year, usually at Whit Sunday, Harvest time and Christmas time.
200th Anniversary
This year Mount Zion Chapel will be celebrating it’s 200th anniversary. There will be a special effort made by the Tosside Community Group to assist with the upkeep of the Chapel to preserve the Chapel for future generations.
